This is how you use a halogen oven extender ring.

After locking, you notice that the light flashes on repeat and will remain like this throughout cooking.
Ensure that you do not leave your halogen oven unattended during use if children are present in the vicinity.
Leave for at least 30 minutes after doing this before commencing cooking.
Can You Put Foil Trays In A Halogen Oven?

Even if it does not say so in the manual provided with your oven, you should be able to place them inside as long as they can fit without touching the sides.

If you need to defrost chicken in a halogen oven, here’s how:
- Place the frozen chicken on a baking sheet with sides so it won’t fall off while thawing.
- Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes until it reaches this temperature or close to it (this will help speed up the process).
- Turn OFF the heat once the preheating cycle is complete and place your baking pan of frozen chicken inside after about 20-25 minutes has passed.

How Do You Air Fry In A Halogen Oven?
If you want that “fried” taste without adding the oil, you can do it in a halogen oven.
I have been using mine for years because it is healthier and still gives food that fried taste. Here’s how;
Step 1: Preheat your halogen oven between 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Place your ingredients into one layer on top of the wire rack inside your Halogen Oven and cook until crispy browned perfection.
Step 3: When they come out of the oven, sprinkle with salt or seasonings to taste and enjoy.
You can cook with foil trays, metal trays and also use an Extender ring to make your food taller.
I do not recommend silver foil for cooking in the oven as it will cause fire damage.
Halogen cooker might be expensive to run, but the cost of running an electric oven may be more than that depending on what you are cooking, how often you’re using it, etc.
The best way to defrost chicken before cooking is by leaving them out at room temperature or putting them into cold water.
Which should only take 20 minutes. Air frying means deep-frying without oil – just placing the ingredients inside the halogen oven’s bowl and turning up the heat.
